What to expect

Da Hood is a strategic game of territory, trade and war for 2-4 players. Control a gang in the dangerous hood of south side Chiraq and overcome your opps by shootin' and hustlin'. To win, gain chains by slangin' dope, pimpin', controllin' territory or snatchin' em from the opps.

The game is meant only for adult audiences (cartoonish depictions of drug use, gun violence and foul language)

Key mechanics

The map of Da Hood is randomized every game with a set of 25 Block tiles- each with a dedicated use, including: Traphouse, Da Club, Jail, Da Plug and many more. An unique auction-based advanced setup lets players price the advantage of an uneven, asymmetrical map.

Players, in turns, move their gangstas between blocks, interact to buy and sell items, and battle if they run into opps. Bands and Dope act as the primary resources, while Dracos, Chains and Hellcats provide extra abilities. Players are challenged to hustle and bring in Bands while under the constant threat of getting jumped by the opps and running from police.

Combat combines positioning of gangstas,  simple dice rolls and item abilities for challenging tactical depth.

Chains, the win condition item embodying respect in these streets, can be gained in several ways and enable additional interactions. Their limited supply forces players to face off in battle and snatch their opp's chains for victory.
